William Clay Rumley

William Rumley, 47, of Martinsville, VA died Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Martinsville, VA.  He was born June 8, 1976 a son of Gustav and the late Geneva Hairston Rumley, Sr.  In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by one brother, Gustav Rumley, Jr.

He was employed at Webb Boring Company in Richmond, VA.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Gustav Rumley, Sr., of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Gazetta Rumley, of Martinsville, VA; and one brother, Jesse Rumley, of Martinsville, VA.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 12, 20023 at 11:00 AM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Harvey Penn, officiating.  Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.

A floating visitation will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral services and will be at the home at 416 Dye Plant Road, Martinsville, VA at other times.

Arrangements will be announced by Hines Funeral Services, Inc.
