Rufus Tyrone Moyer

Rufus Tyrone Moyer, 38, of Martinsville, VA transitioned on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his home.  He was born March 28, 1986 in Martinsville a son of the late Lula Moyer.

He was disabled from HanesBrand and was a graduate of Laurel Park High School.

He is survived by two sons, Kendrick Amir Moyer and Tysean Avontae Moyer both of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, Bob Moyer and Ronte Moyer both of Martinsville, VA,

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Ronnell Wilson, officiating.  Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home at 189 Cardinal Road, Martinsville, VA at other times.

A floating visitation will be held Sunday April 21, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services.
