Roy Howell Tinsley

Roy Howell Tinsley, 68, of Martinsville, VA transitioned on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Mulberry Creek  Nursing and Rehab Center in Martinsville, VA.  He was born  in Leaksville, NC on April 18, 1956 a son of the late Robert and Mamie Wade Tinsley.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Deon Peatross, of Eden, NC; one sister, Shirley Perkins, of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Hubert Ray Tinsley, of Petersburg, VA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Otis Dillard, officiating.  Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home of his sister, 825 Stoney Mountain Road, Martinsville, VA at other times.  A public viewing will be held Sunday, October 29, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services.
