Duane Colbert Pettie, Jr.

Duane "Junie" Colbert Pettie, Jr.  transitioned on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care in Dobson, NC.  He was born in Bronx, NY a son of Duane and Valinsa Myers Pettie. Sr.

In addition to his parents of Martinsville, VA; he is survived by two sisters, Myia Pettie, of Martinsville, VA; and Gabrielle Malone, of Mebane, NC; two brothers, Dajshon and Jahiem Pettie bother of Martinsville, VA and his maternal grandmother, Vergie Myers, of Axton, VA.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Thomas Devins, officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home of his mother, at 821 New York Avenue, Martinsville, VA at other times.
