Cynthia Gravely

Mrs. Cynthia Gravely transitioned on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  She was born October 4, 1934, a daughter of the late John "Bubba" and Essie Eggleston Gravely.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Gravely.

She was retired from Tultex and was a member of First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she served ads the oldest member of the Galilee Bible class.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Gayle (Dwight) Mack, of Martinsville, VA; one son, Steven Gravely of Martinsville, VA; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM at First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Mack, eulogist.  Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the church one half hour prior to the funeral.
