Tamma Renae (Hairston) Hairston

Tamma Hairston 65, of Martinsville, VA departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Martinsville Health and Rehab Center.  She was born in Martinsville, VA a daughter of the Rufus and Sarah Belcher Hairston.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Her husband, Richard Hairston, her son, Richard, Jr. and one brother, Nickie Hairston.

She is survived by one daughter, Jasmine Hairston, of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Ramona "Mona" Hairston, of Woodbridge, VA; three brothers, Rufus "Do Thang" Hairston, Jr., of Martinsville, VA; William Hairston, of Jarrett, VA; and Vincent (Toy) Hairston, of Martinsville, VA and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel with Elder Justin Lucas, eulogist.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home of his brother 'Do Thang" 717 Oneida Street at other times.
