Neaoma (Wade) Moyer

Neaoma Wade Moyer, 85, of Axton, VA transitioned on Monday, July 14, 2025 at UNC - Rockingham Hospital in Eden, NC.  She was born January 23, 1940 in Henry County, VA a daughter of the late Robert K. and Nannie Tinsley Wade.

She was retired from E. I. Dupont Company after 29 years of service and attended St. Paul Holiness Church in Axton, VA.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Alton Vaughn Moyer of Axton, VA; Kenneth Desmond Moyer and Todd Christopher Moyer both of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Ethel Marie Wade, of Axton, VA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Jerusalem Free Deliverance Church 135 Blue Knob Road, Martinsville, VA with Bishop James R. Perkins, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wade Family Cemetery, on Irisburg Road, Axton, VA.  The family will receive friends at the churdh one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home at 3087 Hobson Road, Axton, VA at other times.  A floating visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel.
