Lucy P. Jamison

Lucy P. Jamison, 94, of Martinsville, VA departed this life on Monday, February 2, 2025 at Sovah Health - Martinsville.  She was born on October 27, 1930 in Pittsylvania County, VA a daughter of the late Lloyd and Tinnie Dickerson Fuller.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Precious Price and George Jamison, one son, Mckinley Price, one daughter, Jeneen Valentine and one step daughter, Cheryl Jamison.

She was retired from Fieldcrest Canon and was a member of the Galilean House of Worship.

Lucy leaves precious memories to cherish her life: one son, Jerrold (Phyllis) Price of Midlothian, VA; one daughter, Wanda Brandon, of Longs, SC; one step daughter, Teresa Jamison of Gaston, NC; one sister, Carrie Holt, of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren and a host of step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 at New Sharon Grove Baptist Church in Axton, VA with Bishop Michael Penn, Eulogist.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church one half hour prior to the funeral.

A public viewing will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services Chapel.
